“We’re not collecting for anything! We’re here to bring a little happiness your way. Something for nothing!” Last week Fionnuala Maxwell, Brian Mostyn & myself knocked on the doors of people in our community that have not been out and about for quite some time now. We played tunes, sang, danced and chatted to them all and what a welcome they gave us. They danced in their doorways, sang, clapped, laughed and some cried. It was simple and beautiful. We covered 34 homes in 3 days across Drumsna, Annaduff, Carrick on Shannon & Leitrim Village and it did as much good for the 3 of us as it did for those we visited.
