WORKSHOP 1: 8pm (GMT) – Madam I’m A Darlin’ – Reel Rhythms – Level: Beginner – Advanced

Focusing on the song Madam I’m a Darlin’ performed by Cathy Jordan and Edwina Guckian at TG4 Gradam Ceoil 2022, Edwina will teach you several rhythms to match the rhythm of the words. The steps are in reel rhythm and can be used to dance to any reels and hornpipes too.

WORKSHOP 2: 9pm (GMT) –  I’ll Make You Dance Jack Lattin –  Level: Intermediate – Advanced

A newly choreographed dance by Edwina for a documentary she produced in 202o with the Irish Traditional Music Archives. In 1731, famous fiddle player and dancer, 21 year old Jack Lattin danced himself to death for a bet. Edwina retraced his footsteps and created a new dance to celebrate Jack, to a tune he once played.

Dance with Edwina every Monday LIVE from her home. The class will be recorded and made available for you to PLAYBACK in your own time if the timing of the last class doesn’t suit you or, if like many others, you like to look back over the class to refresh the steps and information. After each class Edwina will send you music, a synopsis video of what was learned and information that was shared in that class. The playback will be available to view until 31st January 2023.
